YinYang Dragons...

One evening, an old Martial Arts Master told his young students about a “Great Battle of life and death” that goes on inside all Human Beings.

The wise man said, "The battle is between 'Two Dragons' … They are battling for dominance inside us all."One is Dark, it represents Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Light, it represents Good. It is joy, love, peace, hope, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, serenity, compassion and faith."

The students thought about it for a while and then asked the Master:

"Which Dragon wins?" The old wise man simply replied, "The one you feed."

Why 1stDefense ?

Many people wait until they've tried everything that Western Medicine has to offer before they consider so called "alternative" methods. Sometimes patients walk in with a shopping bag full of the different meds she has been taken (most are for the side effects of the original prescription). Treat the problem first with Asian Medicine before it becomes a huge imbalance.

I invite you to look at Chinese Medicine as a 1st defense against illness and injury. While I can still help you as your last resort, Chinese Medicine is at its best in keeping you from getting sick in the first place. Wouldn't you rather be rid of pain and illness right away, before it actually takes hold?

In addition to Chinese Medicine, I am teaching martial arts, Tuesday thru Friday, 12:30–2:00 pm. Visit the Martial Arts page for more information on the curriculum. If you are interested, call my office in Beverly Hills at 310-486-6552

I'm also available to teach Women's Self Defense at your office or facility. This is another way of providing you with a 1st Defense against attack.
