Intro to Meditation...

To meditate sit straight in a chair with your feet flat on the floor with your hands on your lap (you can lie flat on your back as well but it is easy to fall asleep in that position and sleeping is not meditating).

Breath deeply into your abdomen twenty times then start counting backwards from 99-1. One count for each breath.

At this stage try to be able to count all the way to 1 and if you get distracted and loose count start over at 99.

Whenever a thought crosses your mind, acknowledge it then let it pass by and keep counting.

Let me know when you a can count from 99-1 twice without losing focus and I'll give you the next level.
